| After the opening of the Lodge Giles gave a moving eulogy in remembrance of our late Assistant Provincial Grand Master David John Winder. After which the brethren stood for a few moments in silence. | |

| The opening of the lodge, and up to the Inner Workings was conducted by the IPC W Bro Stuart Southerland Boyd. W Bro Ian Clark RAMGR performed the second part of the ceremony placing Brother David Porter in the chair of the lodge. The address to the Commander was given by WBro Ken Alker RAMGR and the exposition by Giles Frederick Berkley RAMGR Deputy Provincial Grand Master. | |

| Work completed in the lodge, it was time for Pre Dinner drinks and then down to dinner.We have new caterers at Leigh and the meal was exceptional. | |

| On the way home our new Commander told me the Inner workings of the degree was one of the most interesting and enjoyable experiences in his 50 years in Masonry. | |
